Tolentino has excellent links and motorway access towards the coast, Civitanova Marche, then the A14 to Ancona in one direction and Pescara in the other. Both have airports served by low cost airline Ryan Air. Towards the west Rome takes 3 hours.

Tolentino in the heartland of the southern-central Marche is a thriving medieval town set in rolling hills. It has good road communications towards Umbria and Rome and to Ancona and the coast. It is in the province of Macerata.
There are restaurants, nice shops, bars, supermarkets, and a thriving Tuesday market.

The Sibillinis make up the regions National Park and Nature Reserve. From this mountain range, hills roll eastwards towards the coast. The driving distance between the mountains and the beaches is approximately 1 Hour. The area is dotted with small towns and quaint villages perched on wooded hilltops, mostly with historic centers built in local stone.
